Women's Forum (Jerusalem House)

This week I had the opportunity to contribute to a women's forum discussing symbolism from the 1977 Broadway production "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf" by Ntozake Shange. This screen play was later adapted into a book, television film and most recently Tyler Perry's version, that debuted in November 2010.

Monkey Business

I had so much fun creating this collection this week for a beautiful couple in California and their precious baby Darius Clifton.... This order was one of three that I was working on this past weekend. I will be posting the rest later on in the week.

Sweet Baby Jaya Lea

Sweet Baby Jaya Lea.....(created for special friend)... I tried a new design this weekend on the circles shapes below. I think its lleopard or cheetah print, either way it was a little bit challenging. I have to keep reminding myself, that I will continue to get better over time. I've only been decorating cookies, since January of this year.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day

I can finally breath..... Between the massive cookie baking, I some how manage to get sick(go figure). I wanted to share with you some of the cookie creations from this past weekend.... I hope everyone enjoyed the day of, "LOVE".
