Last July Post...........

I thought I better hurry up and post this last project from July, before August gets here(Monday). Below is a cupcake combo for a Meet the Manager Event at a local finance company. I'm still waiting on the weather to coooool down!!! I believe this just might be the warmest summer that I have experienced, since moving here(Tennessee) in 2006.

 Soooo Yummy!!

 I call these cupcakes below, "Blue Smurfs". As I was making frosting, the color reminded me of cute little characters I used to watch as a child. This cupcakes were actually made for a co-worker who retired this past June. We(his peers) threw him a surprise Retirement Party a few weeks ago.

Lemon Raspberry Cupcake/Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting. There are chopped up bits of raspberry in each one.

Summer Break..

What can I say the stove has been on the "closed" status for most of the summer. Besides it being TOO HOT to do any type of cooking. I'm slowing getting back to business. I recently completed a red velvet cake(Deuces Theme) for a co-worker, that will be relocating in the middle of the month. I also had the pleasure of creating come 50th Birthday cookies, for a college classmate mother's birthday. In addition I've picked up and order for 4 dozen cupcakes and few cookie orders... So as I prepare my little one for the upcoming school year(3rd grade). I will be opening the kitchen back up for orders, hopefully the weather will be cooling down!!!
